Dr. Demetrios Rizis is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon recognized by the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Rizis is a member of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Hôpital Cité de la Santé, Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne, as well as Hôpital Notre-Dame CHUM. After completing a degree in Biochemistry at McGill University, he received his MD from the Université de Montréal Facul

ty of Medicine, where he went on to complete five years of Plastic Surgery training. As a credentialed Plastic Surgeon from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, he went on to complete a fellowship at the prestigious Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University. He is a member of numerous professional surgical societies and has authored and presented a multitude of research projects and novel surgical techniques at various surgical conferences both nationally and internationally. Dr. Rizis has recently returned to Montreal with an expertise in a wide breadth of topics, including Adult Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, as well as Hand and Microsurgery.
