We are pleased to announce Marissa as the newest member of our front-end team!

I love getting to know people, helping them feel welcomed and comfortable, and making their experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. I also enjoy the variety that comes with the role, from answering questions and coordinating appointments to staying organized and helping the day run efficiently. There isn’t an official Sterilization Attendant Appreciation Day, so we thought we would create our own and take a moment to recognize the incredible individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Kim Green Dental Hygiene Centre running smoothly.

From meticulously cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments to ensuring dental hygiene ops are fully stocked, running laundry, and maintaining the high standards of cleanliness our patients expect, our Sterilization Attendants are an essential part of our team. Their dedication, organization, and attention to detail help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment while allowing our Registered Dental Hygienists to focus on providing exceptional patient care.

🥂 CHICKS FOR CHARITY 2026 🥂

Members of Team KGDHC had the pleasure of attending the Chicks for Charity ladies’ champagne brunch yesterday, and what a wonderful event it was.

It was inspiring to see this beloved event return to our community, bringing people together in support of local initiatives and organizations. The day was filled with meaningful connections, community spirit, and the opportunity to celebrate the kickoff of this year’s Ponoka Stampede theme, the Year of the Cowgirl.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success. From the organizers and catering team to the sponsors and all those who attended in support, it was a wonderful reminder of the strength and generosity of our community.

Kim recently attended the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) Summit on June 12th in Edmonton, joining dental and dental hygiene professionals from around the world for a day of learning, innovation, and collaboration. 🦷✨

The summit explored the future of preventive dentistry and modern oral care, with sessions covering topics such as oral-systemic health, biofilm management, risk assessment, AI in dental diagnosis, periodontal care, patient communication, and the latest advancements in Guided Biofilm Therapy techniques.

Continuing education is an important part of our commitment to providing the highest standard of care, and we’re excited to bring new knowledge, insights, and evidence-based approaches back to our patients.
