They’ve been part of a lot of little moments over the years.

A toddler who insisted HIS stuffed animal get checked first, a proud new dad getting a little emotional while talking about just how much life had changed, and families we’ve had the privilege of seeing walk through our doors through so many different seasons of life.

It’s the funny, sweet and completely ordinary moments in between that make our days pretty special.

We love the little community that has been created within these walls, and we’re incredibly grateful to the families who continue to trust our team with their chiropractic care. 🤎

Last week, our team celebrated 5 years of serving this beautiful community! 🫶✨

Five years of welcoming families through our doors, building meaningful professional relationships, growing alongside our community, and doing what we love each and every day.

We are incredibly grateful for every practice member, family, friend, team member, and community supporter who has been part of our story over these past five years. Your trust and support mean more to us than we could ever put into words 🙌

One of the greatest compliments we could ever receive is the trust you place in us — not only with your own care, but when you choose to share our practice with your family and friends. We never take that trust for granted!

Back to school soon means backpacks, busy schedules, and more time spent sitting at a desk! 📚🎒

Here are a few of our favourite tips to support healthy movement, posture, and function for your kiddos this back-to-school season:

🎒 Wear the Backpack Correctly:
Use both straps and adjust them for a comfortable, snug fit. The backpack should sit close to the body and avoid hanging too low. Keeping backpacks appropriately sized and limiting unnecessary weight can also help minimize added stress on the body.

🪑 Mix Up Desk Time:
Rather than focusing on “perfect posture,” encourage kids to change positions and move regularly throughout the day. Our bodies are designed to move! 🌿

🙌 Consider a Chiropractic Check-Up:
Chiropractors assess the spine and nervous system as part of their evaluation of how the body is functioning. For families who choose chiropractic care, your chiropractor can access your child individually. YES, we see and serve full families 🧑‍🧑‍🧒

✨ Support Healthy Habits:
Movement, sleep, nutritious foods, time outdoors, and healthy routines all play a role in supporting growing bodies throughout a busy school year.

Hi everyone! 👋

Thank you so much for a wonderful first couple of days in our new space! We’re so happy to be settling in and really appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through a few little changes with the transition.

📞 A quick phone update: We’ve learned this morning that calls coming from landline phones may not be getting through to us. Calls from cell phones appear to be working normally.

We’re working with our phone provider to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, if you’re having trouble reaching us, please feel free to text, email, or stop by the office, and we’ll be happy to help!

After months of planning, designing, and building, we’re so excited to welcome new and current practice members into our new home for the very first time.

Today marks our team’s last day serving in our 4908 location and the end of our first lease.

Grateful for 5️⃣ years in this legacy space. Where has the time gone?!

Since opening our doors on August 17th 2021, we’ve had the privilege of serving the Ponoka and Central Alberta community through many seasons of life.

We’ve had the honour of caring for and walking alongside families as they’ve grown, celebrated milestones, faced loss, and welcomed new generations through our doors.

To every person who has trusted us with your care over the past five years here - thank you 🫶 It has truly been an honour to be part of your journey.

Did you know we were the third husband-and-wife chiropractic team to operate a practice in this very space?

For more than 50 years, this building has been home to chiropractic care under one roof. If these walls could talk, they would tell stories of hope, healing, resilience, and countless stories. It has been a privilege to continue that legacy, and this space will always hold a special place in our hearts!

A heartfelt thank you to the Chidlow family for giving us the opportunity to serve our community here over the years.

Beginning on Tuesday, August 4, we’ll be welcoming all of our practice members to our new home as we begin an exciting new chapter. 🏡

Our new sign is officially up! If you need help finding us, give our team a call, send us a text to our main line, or email us—we’re always happy to help. Starting next week our appointment reminders will include our new address. We will be closed today beginning at 1:15 p.m. and will reopen during our regular business hours on Tuesday following the long weekend.

Thank you for the memories, PFC 1.0. You’ll always be a part of our teams story. ✨

🎉 WELCOME TO THE TEAM 🎉

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Nicole Dupuis to the Ponoka Family Chiropractic team! ✨

Originally from Clive, Alberta, Dr. Nicole is excited to return home and be apart of the PFC team. She is passionate about helping individuals and families of all ages improve nervous system function and overall health through hands-on chiropractic care.

Dr. Nicole completed her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida, graduating Magna Cum Laude 🌴

Outside of the practice, she enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the outdoors with her dog, Emmett. 🐾

Dr. Nicole will be practicing Tuesday and Thursday afternoons alongside Dr. Kurtis and the PFC team from 3:00–6:00 PM.

With Dr. Nicole joining our team, we are excited to now offer increased availability for both new and existing practice members in the evening at PFC.

You are welcome to see any of the chiropractors in our practice, including Dr. Nicole, who is now available at PFC!
