Lately, these words have been on my mind.
In a season of trying to build, grow, and give — I’ve been learning (sometimes the hard way) that rest, reflection, and intention matter just as much as hustle.
⁣
Slowing down isn’t falling behind.
Prioritizing self-care isn’t selfish.
And balance isn’t something you find once — it’s something you choose, over and over.
⁣
Grateful for quiet moments, good horses, good dogs, friends who charge my soul and the reminder that there is beauty all around us — we just have to slow down enough to see it. ☀️🌾

💛SOLD💛

“Sofia Sun” Registered APHA 🎀, aka Belle

Standing at 15.1hh Bell is a very sweet, in your pocket type mare.
She is up for sale to no fault of her own, as her owners simply no longer have the time for horses as life takes them into new directions.
She is on consignment with me and I have been riding her regularly for a few months now.
I’ve hauled her to a number of different places and she has never been spooky at the new surroundings.
She’s sound, but is pigeon toed (please see photos), so conformationally would be best suited for trails, pleasure riding, or anything along those lines as she feels very awkward at the lope.
I’ve rode her out alone, and in groups into the hills, and the stubble fields. She is good around cattle, equipment, dogs etc. You can rope on her and drag the tire with zero worries
We’re located just outside of Okotoks

Today we are highlighting a very hard working and well deserving team!!

Brooke and Smarty!

Brooke and her family made the decision to purchase Smarty from my consignment program early this spring and have been working very hard ever since. The amount of growth and improvement this team has done is truly inspiring! This little cowgirl is full of grit and determination 🐎

Thank you so much Carrie Tolsma for the regular updates throughout the last few months! My heart could not be happier that smarty found such a great home!

Congratulations Brooke on a very successful summer, and more to come! 💛

I have 2 horses up for consignment both from the same home!
To no fault of their own, owners have decided to sell simply because they weren’t being used.

Both are good for the farrier/ their feet, stand, tie & load. Both are very sweet, “in your pocket” type horses. Easy to catch and will meet you at the gate. UTD on wormer, and feet.

“Wi******er” (Dakotas Tivio Jack) ✨SOLD✨
2013 AQHA sorrel gelding
15hh
Wi******er came through my program about 3 years back and proved himself to be a very athletic and soft horse. After his stint in training he sat at pasture until I just got him back again. Its been an easy transition back to work for him, zero funny business, he's getting back in shape and proving to remember all of his buttons! He has been used lots on the trails and done arena work as well. He is good minded, takes things in stride and he’s got a good sturdy build to him. He's looking for somebody to give him a job and the consistency he deserves. Priced at $9,000 obo

“Belle” (Sofia Sun)
✨SOLD✨
2013 APHA mare
15.2 hh
Belle is a sweet mare who has also been used as a trail horse in the past. Since being pulled out of pasture and put back to work she’s been willing and shown huge improvements in a short time. Again, she’s needing somebody who is willing to put the time and consistency in, and give her a job or a purpose. Priced at $7,000 obo

Priced to sell! Price will increase the longer they stay with me, both have been put back to work and are ready for you to come try!
