Friday our staff rolled up their sleeves and spent some time outdoors helping plant beautiful flowers in our gardens! 🌸🌼

It was a wonderful opportunity to work together, enjoy the fresh air, and add some extra color and beauty to our outdoor spaces. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the gardens look so vibrant and welcoming.

We can't wait to watch these flowers grow and brighten the days of everyone who visits and enjoys our grounds! 🌿💐

Today we walked to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer Society.

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful walk down to the park, spending time together outdoors before heading back for treats and music with Brad Boland! 🎶

Did you know? Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, affecting memory, thinking, and daily living. Over 700,000 Canadians are currently living with dementia, and that number continues to grow. Events like today help support programs, research, and families impacted by Alzheimer’s.

Portal Village was very fortunate to enjoy a special performance from Eric and Clarence. What made the performance even more meaningful was that Clarence is the son of one of our residents and they generously dedicated their time to bring joy and entertainment to everyone in our home.

They were absolutely fantastic and had many residents up on their feet dancing and singing along. Thank you, Eric and Clarence, for creating such a fun and memorable afternoon for our residents!
