This almost didn't work! I've worked with lemongrass essential oil many times and have never had any issues with it, in fact its a wonderful scent to work with in CP soap, however this time, I wanted to add some organic coconut milk to give it a little extra luxurious creamy feel on the skin. The coconut milk was at room temperature and my oils were at 102 degrees, -big mistake! 🤦♀️and what I should have done was warm up the milk so it was within range of the oils, which I did not, and when I mixed them together, the mixture riced a bit and the soap started to thicken up really fast after i mixed in the scent! Gak! So I couldnt do my design on top i planned and it has a bit of a rustic top. I added some gold sugar stars 🌟 to the top and they melted slightly! 😆 but the final product actually turned out decent and was not a flop as I thought might happen. It's smells divine and will have that extra creamy feel on the skin. You just never know what's going to happen when you try something new and forget some simple steps like ensuring the temperatures of everything are all within range! 🤭😜
