Welcome Brett to Counselling Bruce County 😊 He will be working with children ages 7+ and parents out of our children's play space in Kincardine on Monday and Tuesday afternoon and evenings for just $50 per session 😁 He specializes in working with neurodivergent children, specifically autism. He also educates and supports parents who are struggling with behaviours. He is trained in ABA to help with social skills, emotional regulation and much more. He also loves working with kids on self-esteem, peer relationships and school struggles. Booking is open 24/7 on our website now 👍🏻

Most apologies fail because they're too vague, too conditional, or too focused on explaining intent rather than acknowledging impact. This formula addresses all three of those failure points.

Naming exactly what you did rather than offering a general sorry shows that you've actually looked at your behavior. Reflecting their experience shows that you heard them. Committing to something specific gives the apology somewhere to go. And the closing question leaves space for anything that still needs to be said.

A real apology doesn't end the conversation. It opens the door for genuine repair.

That's right, we have two new students joining us in September who are going to be working out of Port Elgin and Kincardine offering our $50 therapy program, which has been incredibly successful with our current student, Jenna in our Port Elgin office. She filled up within the first two months of joining us and I anticipate that these two student therapists will also book up quick. 👍🏻
