Not all proteins are created equal.

When choosing a protein source, look for foods that are:
βœ… High in protein
βœ… Lower in calories
βœ… Filling and satisfying
βœ… Packed with nutrients

Some of my top choices are:
βœ”οΈ Chicken Breast
βœ”οΈ Lean Ground Beef
βœ”οΈ Salmon
βœ”οΈ Tuna
βœ”οΈ Eggs
βœ”οΈ Greek Yogurt
βœ”οΈ Cottage Cheese
βœ”οΈ Whey Protein

A simple rule I teach clients:

πŸ‘‰ Take the grams of protein and multiply by 10.

If the calories are around that number or lower, it’s usually a very efficient protein source.

Example:
β€’ 25g protein = ideally 250 calories or less
β€’ 15g protein = ideally 150 calories or less

The easier you make it to hit your protein goal, the easier it becomes to lose fat, maintain muscle, and stay full throughout the day.

They build meals around vegetables and forget to get enough protein, carbs, and fats.

Vegetables are amazing β€” keep eating them. But they shouldn’t always be the foundation of your meal.

Start here:
βœ… Protein β†’ helps fullness, recovery, and maintaining muscle
βœ… Carbs β†’ fuel energy, workouts, and daily life
βœ… Healthy fats β†’ support hormones and satisfaction

Think of vegetables as the support team β€” not the entire game plan.

Build meals around your macros first, then load up the veggies around them.
