A day off the farm, a Saturday afternoon in Lunenburg, and an open mic that turned into something more than music. 🎶

My husband opened the set with this song, and I watched a space full of strangers mouth the words right along with him.
There’s something about live music that says what a lot of us are feeling but don’t always say out loud.

We needed that day away from the animals and the chores more than we realized.
Sometimes the best reset is a good song, good company, and a little salt air.

Anyone else feel like this one’s been playing on repeat in their head lately? 🤠

Some of the best things are the simplest.

A glass of water, sunlight catching the bubbles, and a molecule doing quiet work in the background.

The dining room table has officially been vacated. 🐥

Our ducklings moved outside this weekend into their own protected little space in the garden, and watching them get their first real pool days, swimming and diving like it’s the best summer of their lives, was the best part of my week. 🤠

The sheep were very confused by the whole thing. 🐑

There’s something about watching a little creature get more room to be itself that just gets me every time. 🥰

I saw a post from a doctor I really respect saying we don’t need minerals in our water, that we get everything from food. 🧐

He’s right about one thing: our water is contaminated, and that’s worth taking seriously.

Here’s where I see it differently. Our soil isn’t what it used to be. Decades of intensive factory farming have left a lot of our food with fewer minerals than it had generations ago, so ‘eat well’ isn’t the full picture anymore.

And you can drink water all day and still walk around dehydrated if your body doesn’t have what it needs to actually absorb it. Minerals are part of that equation too. 💦

This is exactly why I drink molecular hydrogen water. The smaller molecular structure means it can move into your cells more easily, so you’re not just drinking water, you’re actually hydrating at a cellular level. Not adding minerals to a glass, but giving my body water it can truly use.

I used to feel the weight of every headline. Every scandal. Every reason to be afraid or angry. 😡

I’ll say it plainly: I believe Fauci is guilty. I also believe none of it changes what I need to do today. Whether he answers for it is between him and his own god, not mine to judge, and not mine to wait around for.

Somewhere along the way, out here on this little farm, I found something steadier to hold onto. We don’t have to agree on everything to take care of each other. We don’t have to wait for the world to fix itself before we start fixing our own little corner of it. 💚

I no longer live in fear. I choose love. I choose community. I choose this little corner of the earth and the people in it.

Not every rescue looks dramatic.
Sometimes it’s just three ducklings on a dining room table because the odds outside weren’t in their favor. 😍

They didn’t need us to fix them… just to give them a safer place to do what they already knew how to do.

I’ve been sharing about the water system all month…
