For those of you who have asked, here is a fish update. The goldfish moved out to their summer home in my son's pond for the warm months where they are likely gorging on mosquito larvae and anything else that strays into the water. Last year they got frisky and created some little babies which survived the move indoors and grew quite well in the office tank over the winter. Recently we discovered that the big fish must have left some eggs behind in my tank as little silver babies have appeared. Some of them are growing while others are quite tiny which leads me to suspect more are still hatching. I have been able to count 8 at one time but an accurate count is very difficult. Maddox counted 9 but his eyes are much younger than mine. Feel free to try and count them when you are in the office and eventually we may know for sure.

For a few people who have been having trouble submitting claims under the Telus portal, be assured that the problem is finally fixed. Except that it could still take another two weeks for everything to be running 100%. Let me know if you are still having issues.

It is a significant weather day today so if at all possible stay where you are. All appointments are cancelled for today as Fisher Ave is blown in and vehicles of any type will struggle to get here. If you live within walking distance and want to stop by then you are more than welcome!

Have you used up all of your massage therapy benefits for this year? Wondering how you will make it through until January 1st? Fear not - you may still have coverage! If your plan has a Health Spending Account you can use it to bump up your coverage. The only drawback is the provider cannot do direct billing on your behalf, you must claim it yourself. Don't forget to use up your HSA before the end of the year!

Although the phone number will remain the same there may still be some disruption in service. Facebook Messenger will be the most reliable means of contact for the next little while.

For the next few weeks I will be bird-sitting while my daughter is away. She thought the little girl would appreciate the friendly traffic in the office. And no surprise here, but she is nameless. She does sometimes get referred to as 'PB', which is short for purple budgie, NOT peanut butter!
