Yay!🎉What a great way to end this week with a BRAND NEW Volunteer Driver!

That's right... longtime Powassan resident and former Mayor Peter Brushey is ready to hit the road and get people to their medical appointments. We can't think of a better way to give back to the community can you?💗

Nobody should miss their medical appointments... but if you don't drive and you live in a rural area where there is no public transportation, how do you get there?

Via these kind-hearted individuals who sign up to be volunteer drivers that's how! Thanks to Peter and all of our other amazing volunteers they make this very important service possible☺️

Signing up to be a volunteer with us is easier than ever!

Just head to our website at epscss.ca - click on Volunteering - and you'll find our Volunteer Application along with instructions on how to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Search (PS - the backlog of VSS has now improved).

We are looking for Volunteer Drivers to drive clients to medical appointments. Mileage reimbursement is provided and you will be making a HUGE difference in the lives of many!

Think this group of seniors are just sitting around having a ball?⚽️

Well they are having fun... but they are also working on their hand 🖐️eye 👀 coordination and cardio… keeping the beach balls on the table!

Just another fun and very important part of our 12 week Stand Up! program running from April to June in Callander.

We LOVE running programming aimed at keeping seniors in tip-top form!

There are so many things to choose from now that the nice weather is finally here!
