A special visitor brightened our day at Mayfield Retirement Residence today! ❤️

This beautiful cardinal perched on our front railing and gave residents and staff a wonderful moment to pause, smile, and enjoy nature’s beauty.

Many people believe that when a cardinal appears, it is a reminder that loved ones are near. Whether you share that belief or simply appreciate these vibrant birds, our little visitor certainly brought a touch of joy to Mayfield today.

Our home is your home. We are so excited for the warmer weather and the chance to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. Whether it’s going for a walk or simply relaxing in our beautiful courtyard, these little moments mean so much. Family and friends are always welcome to come spend time with their loved ones and enjoy these special moments together. Like we always say, the more the merrier.

As many may know, the water tower next to Mayfield will soon be taken down. It has been a big part of Mayfield for many years and holds many memories for our residents, families, and staff. While it will be sad to see it go, we will always remember it as part of the beautiful history and heart of Mayfield.

It’s been an incredible week! We had a few hot days, but we made the best of every moment together. From enjoying our morning walks, sitting and playing cards, to sharing a good cup of tea and wonderful stories, there is always something special about the time we spend together.

That’s what Mayfield is all about — kindness, love, support, and feeling like one big family. ❤️

Our residents absolutely loved receiving them, and the creativity, artwork, and thoughtful messages truly put smiles on their faces and made their day extra special.
