We have a new program at Connection Martial Arts taught by our personal trainer, Patrick!

Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) involves reconstructing and practicing fighting techniques from Europe, spanning from the Late Middle Ages to the early modern period, primarily using historical manuals and treatises. It spans various weapons, including longswords, rapiers, sabers, and daggers, as well as grappling. It is practiced as both a competitive sport and a historical study.

Nationals Days 2 & 3 update.

Nicole lost to a much taller opponent in a tough match in her kicklight finals. Amy went full rounds in her first Low Kick bout and did a fantastic job. She is already hungry for more.

Our friends at are all coming home with silver medals after three tough but incredible matches.

We also had the honor of being awarded a top supporting club award. Thank you for the honor. πŸ™

Day 1 of Nationals is in the books!

Nicole was up today for two divisions: K1 and Kicklight.

She learned lots in her first K1 fight and lost in a close bout to a tough opponent. Bringing home a silver!

In kicklight, she came out with the win and moves onto the finals tomorrow.
