If your eyes feel sore or tired after scrolling - you may be experiencing to digital eye strain. When we spend long periods focusing on phones, tablets, computers, or other screens, we tend to blink less and focus at a fixed distance for extended periods.

In order to combat this, you can try the 20-20-20 rule:

➨ Every 20 minutes
➨ Look at something about 20 feet away
➨ For at least 20 seconds

Other helpful habits include taking regular breaks, adjusting your screen position and lighting, and remembering to blink.

Small changes can make a big difference in how your eyes feel throughout the day. Your eyes deserve a break, too! ✨

Did you know? For years, Prince George residents looking to have laser eye surgery have had to travel out of town - not just for the surgery itself, but SEVERAL times for pre-testing and post-surgery visits?

Without laser eye surgeons based in Prince George, accessing this type of care has meant making multiple trips outside the community.

That’s why we offer Laser Surgery Co-Management, so patients can have their pre-surgery testing, healing progress check-ups, and other necessary medical appointments right here in PG - without having to travel for every step of the process.
