Soooo.....the team are looking at ways to make communicating with the office and booking appointments easier. It's very frustrating and time consuming trying to phone the office. It also ties up the medical office assistants, often at times when they are needed to work with the doctors to facilitate patient care.

20% of patients are now registered for Myhealthkey which allows patients to book their appointments online ( office, video or telephone ). There is new functionality that allows patients to message the MOAs. Patients need to register to access this by emailing [email protected] .

For now we will continue manning the phones and answering phone messages as time allows.

Clinics are always full, so the old system works, but it's 2026 and it could be so much better. If we can free the MOAs up they can work more closely with the doctors and we can provide even higher quality care.
