What a beautiful day for a Farmers Market!! We are at Quesnel Farmers Market until 1:00.

We’re down to the last of the Storm Survivor Soaps — and they’re now just $3 each until they’re gone.

Making soup today with cauliflowers and potatoes from my garden; beets From Beds to Bowls and beans and onions from my neighbour this week at Quesnel Farmers Market. It is a recipe for Doukhobor Borcht that a friend from Castlegar taught me over 50 years ago!! I lost touch with the friend but think of her every time I make this soup. She called it a harvest soup - and I only know how to make it in ridiculous quantities - it takes lots of butter and cream and is sinfully delicious!!!!!

Williams Lake Farmers Market today — 9–2!

Today I’m featuring a few favourites:

Salt Bars — long-lasting, creamy lather and a great choice for our hard water.

Hardworkin’ Hands — made for gardeners, mechanics, farmers, and anyone whose hands get seriously dirty.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Quesnel Farmers Market today before the huge thunderstorm rolled over in just after noon.

And an even bigger thank you to the wonderful customers and fellow vendors who rushed over to help when my fully staked and weighted tent decided it wanted to fly away… with me still hanging onto it! 😄

I’m happy to report I’m just a little bruised, although the tent frame wasn’t nearly as lucky—it has officially retired.

We’ll be back next week with all of our regular soaps, plus a special on our Storm Survivor Soaps—the bars that weathered today’s storm right along with us.

Thanks again for all the kindness, helping hands, and support. It reminded me once again what a great community we have. ❤️

Well… if you’ve been waiting for the perfect day to buy soap, Mother Nature seems to think today is it! 😂

Yes, I’m still heading to the Quesnel Farmers Market—even if the weather has decided to give everyone a free demonstration of what soap does!

So grab your raincoat, splash your way downtown, and come say hello. I’ll have all my handmade soaps, salt bars, Hardworkin’ Hands bars, and a smile (even if I need to wring the rain out of it).

After all, if you’re going to get soaked anyway… you might as well smell amazing!
