Jennifer is passionate about helping people and brings a wealth of experience gained through her work with community organizations and government agencies. Her professional background spans a wide range of areas, including income support, justice and reintegration, harm reduction, mental health, substance use, housing, access to community resources, family supports, and extensive inter-professional collaboration. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with, advocating for, and supporting children, youth, and adults within the community.
Jennifer’s goal has always been to provide exceptional, authentic, and compassionate service. For decades, she has been dedicated to helping individuals recognize their inherent value and build upon their strengths. She believes in creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches, Jennifer tailors her work to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. By working collaboratively alongside individuals, couples, and families, she supports them in navigating life’s challenges, developing effective coping strategies, and moving toward meaningful personal growth and positive change.
Jennifer works with individuals aged 16 and older, as well as couples and families. Her areas of interest and experience include women’s issues; intimate partner violence (physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, and financial); support for both victims of violence and those who have used violence; relationship challenges; separation and divorce; self-esteem; life transitions; body image; parenting; career exploration and retraining; assertiveness and boundary setting; goal setting; life stressors; stress management; emotional regulation; grief and loss; substance use; anxiety; depression; and suicidality.
