Is it a personality flaw... or a survival strategy? 🧠✨

For decades, BPD has been one of the most heavily stigmatized labels in mental health. But right now, therapists and researchers are having a massive realization: a huge percentage of what we call BPD is actually Complex PTSD—or C-PTSD

Think about it. The core traits of BPD are intense mood swings, unstable relationships, and a fragile sense of self. But where do those actually come from? Almost always... chronic, repeated childhood trauma or emotional neglect

BPD says, ‘There is something fundamentally flawed about your personality.’ C-PTSD says, ‘Your nervous system is stuck in a loop trying to survive what happened to you.’ It shifts the question from ‘What is wrong with you?’ to ‘What happened to you?’
