I'm coming back — but I’m coming back differently. 🤎
After taking this time away, I’ve had a lot of space to reflect on how I want to practice moving forward.
My return to work will be slow, gradual, and intentional. My hours will be limited, my availability will be smaller, and I will be taking the time to make sure the way I’m working is sustainable — for me, and more importantly, supportive for you.
I’m also changing the way I look at appointments.
This will no longer be a first-come, first-served practice.
I’m not interested in filling my schedule just because there is a sore hip, a tight neck, or benefits that need to be used before they expire.
Your appointment should have a purpose.
I want to understand what your body is asking for, what support you need right now, and what we can actually work toward together.
And that means I’m going to ask more of you, too.
Your treatment doesn’t end when you walk out my door.
If we talk about stretching — I want you to stretch.
If we talk about strengthening — I want you to strengthen.
If we talk about movement, rest, hydration, nervous system regulation, or making different choices for your body — those things matter too.
I don’t expect perfection. Life happens.
But I do want participation.
I want to work with people who are willing to make themselves a priority and who understand that treatment is one piece of their overall wellbeing — not the entire solution.
So as I begin opening my books again, please understand that being a returning client, having benefits, or simply being sore does not automatically mean an appointment is the right next step.
Sometimes the right next step is treatment.
Sometimes it’s homecare.
Sometimes it’s movement.
Sometimes it’s rest.
Sometimes it’s getting stronger.
And sometimes it’s recognizing that something needs a little more attention than another treatment can provide.
My job is to help you figure out which one you need.
My new rates:
60 minutes — $145
90 minutes — $210
I will also be working limited hours and a limited number of clients as I gradually return.
This next chapter of Willow Stone is going to be less about how many people I can fit into a week and more about how intentionally I can support the people who are in my care.
I recently completed trauma-informed training, and it was beautiful, validating, and humbling all at once.
It gave me even more language and understanding for something I have always tried to hold at the centre of my work- that how we care for people matters just as much as what we do.
Thank you for giving me the space to step away, reset, and rethink how I want to do this work.
I’m really looking forward to being back. 🤎
I have space tomorrow, Wed, and Thursday. PM to discuss how I can support you this week.
*New clients welcome. Initial treatment pricing in affect- PM for details*
**More details about booking and availability will come as I continue opening my schedule*
