2 of our very own, Dr. Matt and Caitlin, our clinic manager, will be taking on HYROX Vancouver on December 18th!

In addition to their training, they will also be working to raise $700 for the Animal Welfare Fund, which supports oragnizations like The Humane League, Good Food Institute, Sinergia Animal and Anima International, all of which have the mutual goal of putting and end to factory farming.

Each year, over 60 billion animals endure life in factory farms before being killed for food. Battery cages and gestation crates too small to turn around in inflict extreme, unnecessary harm, while driving climate damage and antibiotic resistance. The result is the largest source of man-made animal suffering on the planet.

Connor Hurlburt - the new kid on the block and recent addition to the Elite Massage Therapy Team.

“I never thought at first of being a massage therapist, I wanted to get into business or something with landscaping.
I have done rig mats, tree removal, furniture delivery, security. I love playing rugby for the Red Deer Titans rugby club and coaching rugby at Hunting Hills High School.
I feel like I bring a good practical experience to my treatment. On the sports side, I’ve done competitive dance, soccer, fencing (with a sword haha) basketball, football and finally ended with rugby. That’s been my thing.
I do enjoy interacting with my client as much verbally as I do treat in my treatment room but am always willing to accommodate to the silent treatment.... no pun intended.
I might come in with battle scars from rugby so try not to get caught off guard (no I didn’t get beat up).”
