Please note that our office will be temporarily closed beginning this afternoon through late Wednesday next week due to construction and repairs related to damages sustained within our building in early March.
While this process has taken time, we are very excited to soon have our clinic space restored to its original state. We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the families and community members who have patiently waited alongside us throughout this process. Your understanding, flexibility, and continued support have meant so much to our team.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as this work is completed. During this time, our team will continue to monitor emails and communicate regarding appointments and scheduling changes as needed.

Looking for a fun and engaging summer activity for your child? ☀️🎮🧱🎥
Speech & Language Builders is excited to offer our SLB Summer Interest Groups, designed to support communication, social interaction, teamwork, problem solving, and confidence building through shared interests and play-based learning! This summer, we are offering:
🎥 SLB YouTubers (ages 10-13) July 13-16
For children who love creating, filming, storytelling, and sharing ideas. Participants will work on communication, planning, collaboration, and creativity while exploring the world of content creation.
🧱 SLB Lego Builders (ages 7-9, 10-13) July 27-30
Perfect for children who enjoy building and creating with Lego! This group supports language development, social communication, cooperation, problem solving, and flexible thinking through hands-on activities and collaborative builds.
🎮 SLB Gamers (ages 7-9, 10-13) August 10-13
A fun and interactive group for children who enjoy gaming. Participants will work on conversation skills, teamwork, perspective taking, problem solving, and social communication in a supportive environment.

Wednesday night marked the kickoff of our first evening in the books for Social Connections, and what a meaningful start it was.
Together, our SLB Bears created a banner that reflects exactly what this program stands for: connection, inclusion, collaboration, and community. The creativity and thoughtfulness that went into it truly set the tone for the weeks ahead.
Some of the messages shared by our Bears included:
“Everyone belongs here, winning doesn’t matter - have fun”
“The Bears are the Best”
“Be a Leader not a Boss”
“Do love, be kind”
“And the Bears are the best, best, best... other teams are good too!”
It was a great reminder of what this group is all about - building relationships, learning from one another, and creating a space where everyone feels they belong.
Looking forward to all that this group will continue to build together.

Our Social Connections program is a 15-session group therapy program designed to support children ages 7–10 who need support with social communication and social skills.
During sessions, children build and practice foundational skills such as:
• social perspective taking
• self-awareness
• executive functioning
• social problem solving
What makes this program especially unique is that children don’t just learn these skills in the clinic, they apply them in a real-world setting through guided participation in flag football.
