It's two cupcakes shared at a tea party because something worth celebrating happened.
Therapy isn't only about surviving the hard moments—it's also about learning to pause long enough to notice the victories. The fear that was faced, the coping tool that was practiced. The boundary that was finally set. The difficult conversation that was had. The morning someone got out of bed when they didn't think they could. The moment a client realizes, "I handled that differently."
Healing isn't measured only by the absence of struggle. It's measured by the quiet moments of courage that slowly become a new way of living.
So today we celebrated. Not because the journey is over, but because every meaningful step forward deserves to be acknowledged.
Never underestimate the power of celebrating progress, no matter how small it seems. Those little victories are often the ones that change a life.
