We celebrated with a very special lady this month. Kathleen has celebrated her 105th birthday! We are honoured to be able to participate in her big day. She now says she is going for 200 lol! Happy birthday Kathleen!

We hosted Northern Reflections from Southland Mall for a spring fashion show. Thank you Lorna and her team for the wonderful experience. Special thanks to our models who did an amazing job! Also to the Trinity Manor choir who sang us some great hits.

England was a very good time! We had fish and chips, we had tea with finger sandwiches, scones and clotted cream and dainties and saw Big Ben.

Scotland! Travelled through Scotland with Rick Steves while creating our own tartans! Birthday party & mini Highland Games! Featuring music from the Regina Mandolin Orchestra! Menu today was Neep soup, Scottish pie, parsnips and tatties & shortbread.

Cheers! Happy St Patrick’s day! We went off to Ireland today and enjoyed some green beer and Irish beer tasting, good snacks and even better company! The menu was delicious! We had potato leek soup, the full Irish breakfast with bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns, eggs, fruit and pancakes. We all made room for the Baileys cheesecake. Great times! Tomorrow we are off to Scotland. Jump aboard everyone on our cruise.

All Aboard!! We are on our way for an all inclusive European Cruise this week!
Today we travelled to Spain. We tasted Gazpacho, Enchiladas and Spanish Rice. Played some Loteria (Spanish Bingo) and now resting for our next port- Ireland! Stay tuned all week for our travel photo book!!

Did you know....caregiving is a calling! A respected act of service! I recently saw a simple sign that stopped me in my tracks:

“God bless the caregivers.”

Three words. But in the senior living industry, they carry extraordinary weight.

To work in this field is to choose people every single day. It is early mornings and late nights. It is steady hands and soft voices. It is patience when someone asks the same question for the fifth time. It is dignity preserved. It is families reassured. It is love in action.

Caregivers are the quiet heroes of senior living. They show up not for applause, but because they care deeply about the residents who rely on them. They become extended family. They celebrate small victories. They sit in hard moments. They bring light into seasons that can feel uncertain.
