🌾 Saskatchewan Day Closure Notice 🌾

The ALS Society of Saskatchewan will be closed on Monday, August 3, in recognition of Saskatchewan Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, August 4, and continue supporting people living with ALS, their families, and caregivers across our province.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe and restful long weekend surrounded by family, friends, and the people who matter most.

🔥 SASKATOON—JOIN US FOR GRILLIN’ FOR GRATITUDE! 🔥

The ALS Society of Saskatchewan will be at Gather Local Market this Saturday, July 25, serving delicious grilled smokies in support of Saskatchewan families affected by ALS.

📅 Saturday, July 25
⏰ 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
📍 Gather Local Market (414 Avenue B South)

Stop by, enjoy a smoky and help us continue providing essential equipment, support, education and care to people living with ALS and their families. All proceeds from the sale will remain with the ALS Society of Saskatchewan.

This event is possible thanks to the generosity of some wonderful community partners:

🌭 Boryski’s Butcher Block is donating the smokies, buns, condiments and use of the barbecue.

⛺ Wiegers Financial is providing the tent, signage and other event necessities.

🔥 Saskatoon Co-op is providing the fuel for the barbecue.

We are sincerely grateful for their generosity and commitment to strengthening our community.

Bring your family and friends—and come hungry! Together, we can enjoy great food, build community and make a meaningful difference for Saskatchewan families affected by ALS.

💜 WE'RE NOT DONE YET. 💜

When ALS Awareness Month began, we set an ambitious goal: raise $200,000 to support Saskatchewan families living with ALS.

Today, thanks to the incredible generosity of our communities, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters, we have raised more than $88,000.

That is something worth celebrating.

But our work isn't finished.

Every dollar raised helps provide equipment, support services, advocacy, education, and hope for people living with ALS and their families across Saskatchewan. While our walks may be over, the need continues every day.

That's why we're asking for one more push.

As ALS Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to take one final opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to every person who made a donation, purchased a raffle ticket, attended an event, became a monthly donor, sponsored a walk, shared our message, or encouraged others to support our mission.

Simply put:

You are the reason we are here.

For more than 40 years, the ALS Society of Saskatchewan has received no core government funding to provide support to people living with ALS and their families. Every program, every piece of equipment, every support group, every educational resource, and every act of care has been made possible because people like you chose to help.

This year, our ALS Awareness Month goal was ambitious:

Over the coming days, we will finalize the numbers and reveal just how close we came to achieving that goal together.
