Exciting news for our community! 🌳

As many of you know, there is a shortage of midwives across BC. Every month we have long waitlists with many folks unable to access the care they’d like (💔).

We’re committed to growing our practice so we can provide care to more families.

We’re thrilled to welcome Kirsten Petersen (she/they), Haze Haldane (they/them) and Sara Forrest-Jaimes (she/her) to Team Quince. They bring compassion, experience, and a deep commitment to inclusive, evidence-based, family-centred care.

We’re so excited for our TNM families to get to know them and are grateful to be expanding our team to help care for more families in our community.

Over the coming weeks, you may have the opportunity to meet Haze, Kirsten & Sara (coming soon) during appointments, births, postpartum visits, or on-call care.

Happy Pride Month from Terra Nova Midwifery! 🌈

Here at TNM, we believe every person and every family deserves compassionate, affirming, and respectful care. We are proud to support 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Unfortunately accessing healthcare doesn’t always feel safe or welcoming for everyone. We are committed to creating a space where people of all genders, sexual orientations, identities, and family structures feel seen, respected, and supported throughout their care. Families are built in many different ways, and it is a privilege to provide care to everyone.
