Great to meet you! My name is Anto Mannarino and I'm a Master empowerment coach for women and those who live with a chronic illness, and co-author of the best-selling book, "Simply...Woman; stories from 30 magnificent women who have risen against the odds."

l Andrus Morissette + 29 other amazing women from around the globe. In my chapter, I talk about growing up with a chronic medical condition and how my fierce independence has led me to beat the odds against doctors' diagnoses and prognoses from birth. I have worked as a Teacher, a Personal Trainer, and pilgrimed Spain on my own. My independence and my health are of paramount importance to me. People with chronic medical conditions don't have to live a boxed-up life determined by prescription drugs and societal opinions and views of their capabilities and contributions. We have the power to take control of our health and our lives.
