Those bright headlights aren’t just annoying—they can actually be a sign your eyes need some attention 👀

If you’re noticing starbursts, halos, or glare at night, it could be linked to:
• Dry eyes
• Cataracts
• Previous LASIK/PRK
• Uncorrected refractive error like astigmatism
• Glaucoma
• Corneal disease
• Coating defects and/or scratches on your lenses

Solutions:

✅Step 1: Get an eye exam
If you notice sudden changes in your vision or if the starbursts interfere with your ability to drive safely.

✅Step 2: Treatment options include updated glasses with anti-reflective coatings, contact lenses, or treatments for underlying eye conditions like cataracts.

✅Step 3: Let Transport Canada know how much you’re bothered by the newer headlights. Their survey closes tonight, Monday April 20th (link in stories)
