Well we’ve officially managed to keep this little dude alive for one month! For the purposes of keeping his identity safe I’m going to refer to him on social media by his nickname Lo-Tyde or just little dude/man.

I’ve learned how harrowing breastfeeding is.. and breastfeeding while recovering from C section.. may be the most physically challenging thing I’ve ever done.

In any case, I don’t think I previously recognized how intense caring for a newborn is and as such could not have adequately put into words how impressive motherhood is. Props to all the moms. And props to my mom whose birthday it is today!

I rarely have two hands to myself these days so apologies to anyone who has tried to reach us unsuccessfully.

I didn’t have a slide for MCAS but if you’ve got chronically low BP due to elevated histamine that fits here too.
