TTC “jump scares” are real. Here’s what they actually mean and what to do next. 🎬🫠
1) “Unexplained infertility” Often means we haven’t run the right tests yet. Think: deeper thyroid panel, prolactin, insulin resistance, uterine cavity, tubes, ovulation quality, and s***m morphology/DNA. Unexplained ≠ unfixable.
2)“Normal” semen analysis… with 99% head defects Morphology matters. A “normal” overall result can hide shape issues that impact fertilization and miscarriage risk. Ask for strict morphology, DNA fragmentation, and a repeat test after 2–3 months of targeted changes.
3)TCM take: too much cold/raw can weaken Spleen Qi From a Traditional Chinese Medicine view, excess cold/raw foods (think icy smoothies, raw salads) can dampen digestion and weaken the Spleen/Stomach, less transformation/transport = fewer building blocks for Blood and Jing. Favor warm, cooked, easy-to-digest meals; include adequate protein and healthy fats to “tonify” and support stable energy and cycles. Warm beverages, soups, congee, stews > fridge-cold bowls.
