Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour residential school Survivors, their families and communities, and remember the children who never returned home.

At Transitions, we encourage everyone to take time to pause, listen to Indigenous voices, and learn about the lasting impacts of residential schools. Wearing orange is one way to show support; continuing that learning beyond today matters, too.

We’re HIRING and there are families ready for your support.

Transitions is looking for a compassionate and collaborative Behavioural Consultant to join our Family Services team in a permanent, full-time position.

In this role, you’ll work alongside children, youth and their families to build practical, positive strategies that support participation, inclusion and everyday life — at home, at school and in the community.

With families already booked and the transition back to school approaching, we’re excited to welcome the right person to our team and continue providing the support families are counting on.
