Do you have a child or family member involved in Cadets? We would love to connect with you!

Chartwell St. Albert is preparing for our Remembrance Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 10th, at 10:30 AM, and we are hoping to find a young Cadet who would be willing to join us and recite a poem in honour of Remembrance Day. 🌺

This would be a meaningful opportunity to bring generations together, honour the brave individuals who served and continue to serve our country, and help our residents reflect on the importance of remembrance.

If you have a child in Cadets who might be interested, or know someone in the community who does, please reach out to me through Facebook Messenger! We would be so grateful for your help in making this ceremony special for our residents.

We Want to Hear From You!

Chartwell St. Albert is exploring the possibility of offering in-home companion services for our residents, and we want to know what you think!

The proposed service would provide residents with dedicated one-on-one time with a familiar member of our Chartwell team. Companion visits could include conversation, playing games, reading, going for a walk, enjoying coffee together, participating in recreation programs, spending time outdoors, or simply having someone familiar to connect with.

One of the benefits of an in-house companion is that our team members already know our residents, their personalities, interests, routines, and the things that bring them joy.

Please note: Companion services are not nursing or personal care services. The focus is entirely on companionship, social connection, and meaningful engagement.

The proposed rate would be approximately $30–$35 per hour, with a minimum booking of three hours per session.

Before moving forward, we're looking for feedback from our residents and families.
