Huge congratulations to John on hitting an absolutely incredible milestone today—his 100th donation with Canadian Blood Services!
While John has given the gift of life in multiple ways, the vast majority of his milestone has been dedicated to plasma donation. Reaching 100 donations takes years of quiet consistency and a profound commitment to helping others. Because plasma can be donated more frequently than whole blood, it requires an incredible level of regular dedication—showing up week after week, month after month.
Plasma is often called “liquid gold” because it is used to create specialized, life-saving medications for patients with rare diseases, immunodeficiencies, and bleeding disorders. John’s generosity has directly contributed to keeping hundreds of patients across Canada healthy, stable, and thriving.
