Their story began in 1988 at a restaurant called Eddy’s In Old Port in Port Dalhousie where they met while working. Both later headed off to college together to pursue careers as funeral directors and their friendship strengthened throughout their college years. After graduation, their career paths widened to pursue their professional lives. Holly stayed in Niagara while Bruce moved to Peterborough. They stayed in touch and often spoke of the pact they made in school – if they were able to open their own place & work together in their own location they would see it through. Considerate Cremation & Burial Services is the realization of their dream. Over their many years of experience in the funeral industry Holly & Bruce became aware of the changing needs expressed by families. They wanted to make the memorial as unique as the person who had passed away. A growing number of families are opting for lower cost service options and simple, yet personalized, ceremonies.
