One year ago today, we opened with 5 beds and a dream bigger than we had any right to have. 🙏

Today, we have 28 — across two locations, including our newest home, Rodman Hall, a space so beautiful it makes healing feel possible the moment you walk in.

But the real story isn’t the numbers. It’s who got us here.

To our staff — you weathered the storm of a startup with us, showing up on the hardest days with your whole hearts. You are this place’s heartbeat.

Meet Max. 🌟

Today, he’s the first voice many of our incoming clients hear when they reach out for help — our Intake & Admissions Specialist at Twelve Mile Recovery. But Max’s story didn’t start behind a desk. It started in the same place so many of yours might begin: with a phone call, a moment of surrender, and the courage to ask for help.

Max is a proud alumnus of Twelve Mile Recovery.

He walked through our doors, completed his six weeks of residential care, transitioned through our six-week virtual reintegration program with the same counsellor who knew his story, and continues to lean into our lifetime aftercare community to this day.

That’s our continuum of care in action — not just treatment, but a lifelong support system designed for sustained recovery.
Today, Max carries that lived experience into every conversation he has with families and individuals in crisis. He’s living proof that recovery isn’t just possible — it’s a new beginning. A new career. A new purpose. A new life.
