What if the good was there all along? You just haven’t learned to look for it yet? 🤔

That’s the magic of glimmers. ✨
A glimmer is the opposite of a trigger.
It’s that quiet little moment that reminds your nervous system: you’re safe, you’re here, and you’re okay. ♥️
The first sip of your morning coffee. ☕️
Sunlight on your face. 🌞
A favourite song coming on at just the right time. 🎶
A hug that says everything that words simply can’t. ❤️‍🩹

These moments are happening every single day.
But, when you’re stuck in survival mode, our brains often filter them out.
It’s not your fault. It’s just what stress does.

Here’s what we know to be true:
The more you train your brain to look for glimmers, the more you’ll find them.
It’s not toxic positivity. It’s brain science. 🧠

Start small.
Look for one glimmer in your day today. ✨
Then tomorrow, look for two. ✨✨

We often hear, “You can’t pour from an empty cup.” and yet, so many of us try to do just that.

Filling your cup doesn’t have to look like a big vacation or an elaborate self-care routine.
It’s the small, intentional moments that help to restore you. 😌

A walk outside. A chapter of a good book. An honest conversation. A boundary held with love. A full night of rest.

The magic isn’t in the the gesture, it’s in the intention behind it. ✨

You deserve to be a priority in your own life.
Not just what’s left over after everyone else has been taken care of, but a genuine, consistent, and thoughtful “yes” to yourself.

Sitting with your feelings doesn’t mean wallowing.
It means giving yourself permission to be human.

We live in a world that encourages us to fix, numb, or scroll past discomfort. ⏩

But... feelings that aren’t felt don’t simply disappear.
They find other ways out.

Here’s something to try:
The next time a heavy feeling arises, pause. ⏸️
Take a slow, deep breath. 😮‍💨
Instead of asking, “how do I stop this?” ask yourself, “what is this feeling trying to tell me?” 🧐
You don’t have to have the answer right away.
Just sit with the feeling a little longer.
Get more comfortable with the uncomfortable.
