🌿 FREE Monthly Kids & babies Craniosacral Therapy Clinic in St. Martins, NB 🌿
Please spread the word🙏😍

After many years of dreaming of doing this, a friend recently asked me the question “what would you LOVE to do if you had all the money in the world?”

Among the many answers was this: “I’d have a free clinic just for kids”.

I’ve thought of this before, but somehow now it hit me that this is something I don’t have to wait for, I can do it right now 😍

So with that… I'm so excited to announce that I’m now offering a FREE monthly clinic for newborns, babies, children, and youth (birth–12 years) at my clinic in St. Martins, NB

As a Registered Massage Therapist with over 35 years of experience in Craniosacral Therapy, I've dedicated much of my career while I lived in Ontario to working with infants, children and families. It brought me so much joy to be of service with them 😌

Pediatric care is my specialty, I absolutely love what kids have to teach all of us.

I've also had the privilege of teaching courses to parents & other healthcare practitioners on how to safely and effectively work with babies using this gentle hands-on modality.

Craniosacral Therapy is an incredibly gentle approach that supports the body's natural ability to heal and regulate. Many families seek it to help with:

✨ Feeding and latching challenges

✨ Colic, reflux, and digestive discomfort

✨ Tension from pregnancy or birth

✨ Head preference, torticollis, and flat spots (plagiocephaly)

✨ Sleep difficulties

✨ Nervous system regulation

✨ Sensory processing and emotional regulation

✨ Headaches, jaw tension, and growing aches

✨ Stress, anxiety, and overall relaxation and well-being

Every child is unique, and each session is tailored to meet their individual needs in a calm, nurturing environment.

My hope with this free clinic is to make this gentle form of care accessible to more families in our community, offering a space where children can be supported with compassion, reverence, and deep care with whatever they’re experiencing.

📍 Location: St. Martins, New Brunswick

👶 Who: Newborns to 12 years old

💚 Cost: FREE (for monthly clinic)

Appointments are limited, so if you'd like to reserve a spot or learn more, please send me a message. I'd love to help support your little one on their journey toward greater comfort, ease, and well-being.

Please share this post with families who may benefit, the first free clinic day is this coming Monday and there are only a few spots available

*please note that if you are looking for paid appointments (for adults and kids/babies) there is availability in St. Martin’s and Saint John at Serene Physique Massage Therapy and are covered under RMT if you have health insurance coverage

1. The ritual was called “Wičháŋpi Wóyute” — star feeding.
Lakota healers used it for those who lost loved ones or survived violence.
The person didn’t talk about the trauma.
They fed it.
They’d gather stones representing the pain, then carry them to a river and release them one by one while speaking the memory out loud to the water.
The final stone was kept as a reminder that grief was witnessed, not erased.
🪨🌊
2. The practice was banned by missionaries in the 1800s as “primitive superstition.”
But in 2019, Johns Hopkins trauma researchers recreated it with PTSD patients.
They found the physical act of releasing objects while verbalizing trauma engages both hemispheres of the brain — something talk therapy alone doesn’t achieve.
Results after 6 sessions:
• PTSD symptom reduction: 73%
• Intrusive thoughts decreased by 81%
• Emotional regulation improved 6x faster than traditional therapy
🧠
3. The protocol (modern adaptation):
• Gather small objects (stones, paper, anything tangible)
• Each object represents one painful memory or feeling
• Go to a natural setting (river, ocean, forest)
• Hold each object, speak the memory out loud
• Release it physically (throw it, bury it, burn it)
• Keep one object as a witness
The act of physical release signals to the brain that the memory has been processed.
🔥
4. Therapy organizations pushed back hard.
One psychologist association called it:
“Unscientific and potentially harmful.”
But the data showed otherwise.
The modern therapy model profits from long-term treatment.
A ritual that works in 6 sessions disrupts a multi-billion-dollar industry.
💰
5. Try it with one painful memory.
Lakota healers said:
“The wound that’s held grows.
The wound that’s released heals.”
Your brain doesn’t need endless analysis.
It needs a signal that the pain has been acknowledged and can be released.
Most people are still carrying stones from decades ago.

Welcome to the community! It’s so wonderful to see some new faces here.

There is a well-known sentiment often shared in design and wellness circles: "Your exterior environment is a reflection of your interior mind." I truly believe this. When our physical space is cluttered, our mental energy often feels just as heavy.

In my work within the mental health and addictions field, this is one of the first things I encourage clients to do. We focus on naturally increasing dopamine—that essential "reward" chemical—simply by keeping their personal rooms clean and their drawers tidy. It’s a tangible way to regain a sense of control and trigger those positive brain chemicals every single day.

Now, I know we’ve done this together before. I’ve done this many times myself, and honestly? It’s time for me to do it again! Life happens, things pile up, and that’s okay. Whether this is your first time or your fifth, you can do it again with me. We are in this together.

Before you pick up a paintbrush, browse for new furniture, or hit "buy now" on that decor you’ve been eyeing, I want to challenge you to do one thing: Organize.

The 21-Day "Power Hour" Challenge
Spring is the absolute best time for a reset. If the thought of a full-house overhaul feels overwhelming, you don't need to carve out an entire weekend. We all have busy schedules, so let's make this achievable.

Set a timer on your phone for one hour a day for the next three weeks. Just one hour! Pick one room and tackle one small area at a time—a single drawer, one cupboard, or one shelf. These small wins stack up to create massive change.

As you go, create three piles:

Discard: For the things that have served their purpose and are ready for the bin.

Donate: For the items that could bring joy to someone else.

Sell: My favorite part! Take the cash you make from these items and put it directly into a fund for your room makeover.

By the time you're done, you’ll have a clearer mind, a lighter home, and a little extra budget to create the space you've been dreaming of.

Who’s ready to set their timer today? Let me know which room you’re starting with in the comments! 👇
