$220/hour for Family/Couples Lloyanne Yaremko-Galas is a registered psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Psychologist's Association of Alberta. With over 25 years of experience, she operates a full-time private prac

tice. Lloyanne holds a Masters of Science Degree specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University. She offers a wide range of services including play therapy, individual, couples and family therapy. Tracy Palmquist provides virtual therapy sessions for individual and couples. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and specializes in grief and loss counseling. Tracy has extensive experience working with adolescents, parents, couples, and families facing challenges related to substance use, emotional/behavioral issues, and interpersonal conflict. She has a particular interest in supporting adolescents and adults dealing with trauma, grief/loss, depression or anxiety. Carol Melnyk-Poliakiwski - You'll always remain in our hearts. In Memoriam

Caleb Anacker - MSW, BPE, RSW ( #15045)
Caleb’s practice focuses on working with children, couples, and families. His training background includes child protection, traumatic brain stress, and serving Indigenous communities. Caleb brings a grounded, family-centered approach to his work. MaryAnne Martinson - M.A.C.P., Registered Psychologist (AB). MaryAnne integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, play therapy and music therapy offering support for the healing process. She also provides faith-based counselling for those who seek it. MaryAnne works with adults, youth, children, couples and families. She is a creative and warm professional who values learning and new experiences. Angel Poliakiwski -Office Administrator
Angel manages the day-to-day administration of Yaremko-Galas Counselling. Administrative Office Hours (to speak with Angel):
Monday-Thursday 8:30am-3pm
Fridays 8:30am-12pm

Please note: Counselling session times may vary and often extend beyond administrative hours. Appointment availability depends on the individual therapist's schedule.

Hosted in partnership with Mannawanis Native Friendship Centre and New Direction Consulting.

📍 St. Paul, Alberta
👥 Open to Men & Young Men (15+)
⚠️ Limited to 50 participants

This two-day gathering will focus on:
▪️ Men’s wellness and healing
▪️ Youth leadership and mentorship
▪️ Cultural identity and reconnection
▪️ Healing from trauma and breaking cycles
▪️ Accountability, growth, and stronger futures

This summit is about creating real conversations, meaningful support, and stronger pathways forward for men, young men, families, and communities.

We know the need for this work is growing across our communities. It is time to create spaces where men and young men can reconnect with purpose, identity, responsibility, and healing in a respectful and supportive environment.

☀️ Healing, connection, and care at Camp Sunshine

Camp Sunshine is a bereavement day camp for children ages 7–12 who have experienced the loss of someone significant 💛

Through supportive activities and connection with peers, children are encouraged to share, grow, and learn coping strategies in a safe space 🌱🤝

Effective June 1, our session fee will increase to $220 per hour. This adjustment reflects the continued commitment to providing thoughtful, high-quality care while supporting the sustainability of our practice.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of our friend and former colleague, Carol Melnyk Poliakiwski. Many of you will remember Carol from her years with us at the practice, where she brought a gentle steadiness, a warm smile, and a deep compassion for every person who walked through our doors.

Carol had a gift for making people feel seen and cared for. She was sincere and humorous, full of joy, passion, and a zest for life, and she carried a deep love for her family into everything she did. She approached her work—and her life—with a spirit that lifted others and made our office a brighter place.

We are grateful for the time we were blessed to share with her, and for the countless ways she enriched our team and the community around her. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with her husband, her children and her entire family.

May her memory be eternal.
