No, we haven't started a new décor trend.

These are Our Place Respite Travelling Legs, a fun community tradition that celebrates the people and organizations making our community a better place. The idea is simple: bring a few smiles, spark a few conversations, then pass them along to another amazing community partner.

A big thank you to Scott at Kenny Insurance Brokers for thinking of us and sharing this quirky tradition. It perfectly captures the spirit of community and proves you never quite know what you might find at The Cottage.

We're happy to give them a temporary home (and let them put their feet up for a while 😉).

A little throwback to June 22! 🦵🎨💚

The other set of Travelling Legs made their next stop at the office of the wonderful Suzie Dennis!

We thought they might brighten up her already beautiful office for a little while before they continue on their journey. 💕

Suzie and Doug Tarry Homes is always supporting Our Place Respite. It feels like they’re constantly finding ways to encourage us, advocate for our community, and cheer us on. Sharing the Travelling Legs with them was an easy decision.

Enjoy them while you can, Suzie… and let us know who you pass them onto next!!

It’s time to say goodbye! 💛 We’ve loved hosting the Our Place Respite Adult Day program’s Travelling Legs in our office this month, but their journey continues.

Our mission was to pass them along to an organization making a real difference, and we couldn’t think of a better home than Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin. The team there is doing truly remarkable work, and we are so proud to support them.

Happy travels, legs! Keep making great strides! 🚶‍♂️✨

SAVE THE DATE! This is the FIRST EVER exclusive Porsche Car Show in St. Thomas, by the Upper Canada Region of Porsche Club of America. Attendance is by donation. Porsches from all over, from vintage to brand new will be pulling into the CASO station for you to get an up close look at. Enjoy a cup Streamliners famous coffee while you walk around and admire these beautiful cars. Proceeds of this charity fundraiser will go to Our Place Respite! To say this is an honour is an understatement!!!!❤️❤️❤️
