🐾 Found Cat – Please Share 🐾

A black domestic short-haired, spayed female cat was found today on Manor Road at approximately 1:30 PM. No microchip found.

🍁Happy Canada Day from all of us at the clinic! 🍁

As we celebrate our beautiful country with family, friends, backyard barbecues, and community events, we'd like to wish all of our wonderful clients—and their furry family members—a safe and happy Canada Day!

While the festivities can be fun for us, they can sometimes be stressful or even dangerous for our pets. Here are a few quick tips to help keep them safe:

🎆 Fireworks can be frightening. Keep pets indoors in a quiet, secure area with familiar bedding, toys, and calming background noise. Make sure collars, microchip information and ID tags are up to date in case an anxious pet tries to escape.

🌭 Watch the picnic and barbecue foods. Many holiday treats—including onions, corn cobs, cooked bones, chocolate, alcohol, and foods containing xylitol—can be harmful to pets.

☀️ Stay cool and hydrated. If you're spending time outdoors, ensure your pet has access to fresh water, shade, and frequent breaks from the heat.

🚗 Never leave pets unattended in vehicles. Even on mild days, temperatures inside a parked car can rise dangerously fast.

🐾 Keep celebrations pet-friendly. Large crowds, loud noises, and unfamiliar environments can be overwhelming for some pets, so consider whether your companion would be happier relaxing at home.

🐾 Holiday Hours Update from Your Favourite Veterinary Team! 🐾

Just a friendly heads-up for our wonderful clients and their furry family members!

📦 Tuesday, June 30th – We will be closing early at 1:00 PM for our inventory count. Our team will be busy making sure everything is stocked and ready to continue providing the best care for your pets.

🍁 Wednesday, July 1st – We will be closed for Canada Day as our staff takes time to celebrate with family, friends, and four-legged companions.

🐶🐱 Thursday, July 2nd – We will reopen during our regular business hours and be back to helping your pets stay happy and healthy!

If your pet requires medication refills, food purchases, or any non-urgent veterinary care, please plan ahead and contact us before our early closure on June 30th.

⚠️🐾 Attention: Cats needing homes 🐾⚠️

Are you looking for a new fur-baby to welcome into your home? Look no further! With permission from their foster mom, there are 4 beautiful cats who are looking for their forever home. Each cat has been vaccinated (need to be boostered in 3-4 weeks) dewormed and treated for fleas, ticks, and earmites. They are not spayed or neutered. The foster is asking for a fee to go towards their vaccinations. Each cat has their own personality; Raven and Finnegan are eager to please, as Kiriko and Shadow are a bit more shy and need more time to come out of their shell.
