☀️ The wide open sand horse arena behind the counselling cabin. Mountain top views, nestled in the trees, this is a huge area for walking and being with the equine-assisted counselling horses. The whole eco-therapy program area is inter-connected by trails and gates so we can use a single area or open up loops of trails, farm lanes and two arenas 🌿 We have choices, options and lots of space and fresh air 🌲

☀️ There are many beautiful, quiet places in nature-based counselling sessions to sit, walk, stroll with the horses and Maggie the Spaniel, to lean on the fence and look at the mountain views, horse corrals and sheep fields. , mountains, sunshine and counselling 🌿

♥️ The Counselling Cabin is a welcoming, cozy purpose-built non-clinical cozy space nestled right in the trees, nature trails and horse corrals on our working farm. The cabin is cool and shady in the summer and cozy in the winter with a pellet stove going. The horses come right to the porch! 🌲

☀️ Maggie the Spaniel cuddles! Parents and children who take part in guided joint parent-child sessions know Maggie loves to be right with them, usually cuddled right in alongside. In this photo, we’re just missing the little equine counselling herd but they’re close by, too! The counselling program is surrounded by the horse corrals, fields, arena and forest trails 🌿
