The Salt Spring Centre of Yoga, founded in 1981, is a non-profit, working yoga community. The Centre’s cozy turn-of-the- century farmhouse and studio buildings sit amid 70 acres of meadows, forest and organic gardens on beautiful Salt Spring Island, British Columbia.

🥬 The growing season has been a little too successful and now we have an abundance of organic lettuce looking for homes.

If you’re on Salt Spring, come find us at the Tuesday Farmers Market in Ganges and help us turn a lettuce surplus into a lot of delicious salads.

We accidentally grew too much lettuce 🥬

So now we’re trying to find homes for 100+ organic lettuce heads before Tuesday.

If not, they’re heading to compost 😭

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us at our very first Tuesday Farmers Market!! We sold 14 heads of lettuce! Your support helps sustain the gardens, community, and daily seva at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga.

You can now find us every Tuesday at the Salt Spring Tuesday Farmers Market from 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM ☀️

Raise for the Roof!

On June 5th 4:30-9:30pm we are hosting a one-day all-out fundraiser in the Pond Dome to help us reach our fundraising goal for the school roof!

We opened the car door and stepped onto the earth at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga and felt at home. I didn’t know how much I was missing the Ashram life, and this gave me a much needed injection of energy. Thanks to .aguiar we get to chant in the most amazing and sacred places. Thank you to all who lended their voices to practice last night and thank you “Yoga” for all of the teachings and lessons.
