When people talk about going no contact, the conversation often gets framed as all-or-nothing.

But what if the real question isn’t whether the relationship stays or goes — it’s what level of contact is actually safe, sustainable, and aligned with reality?

In this clip, Corrie explores the concept of the “healing fantasy” - the hope that if we explain ourselves clearly enough, set the perfect boundary, or find the right words, the other person will finally become capable of giving us the relationship we need.

The hard truth? Sometimes people simply aren’t “deep-end” people. For some relationships, that might mean staying in the shallow end. For others, it might mean no contact at all.

🎙️ Listen to the full conversation to learn more about navigating boundaries, grief, acceptance, and the difficult decisions that can come with family and relationship dynamics.

National AccessAbility Week is a reminder that accessibility is not just about physical spaces — it includes how people access healthcare, mental health support, communication, community, and care.

This year’s theme, “Building a Strong, Accessible Canada,” highlights the importance of creating a country where everyone can participate fully, safely, and equitably.

Accessible therapy means reducing barriers to care — including financial, physical, cultural, sensory, communication, and systemic barriers — so more Canadians can access support with dignity and safety.

Mental health care cannot be truly inclusive if people are excluded from accessing it in the first place.

National AccessAbility Week also recognizes the ongoing work being done across Canada to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to inclusion.

Accessibility benefits everyone. When therapy spaces are more flexible, compassionate, and equitable, more people are able to receive the support they deserve.

What’s one win you had this week? 🌿

Big, small, messy, unexpected — it all counts.

Maybe you got out of bed when it was hard. Maybe you set a boundary. Maybe you rested without guilt. Maybe something finally went right.

Drop one good thing from your week in the comments so we can celebrate it with you. 💙

Mother’s Day can hold a lot of different emotions 💙

For some, it’s a day of celebration.
For others, it may bring up grief, distance, or complicated feelings.

However this day lands for you, you’re allowed to feel it—without pressure to explain or make it look a certain way. 💐

Wishing a gentle Mother’s Day to those who need it. ✨

What is mental health?

It’s the quiet stuff.

The way your mind speaks to you when no one else is around.
The tension you carry without realizing it.
The way you push through when you’re already overwhelmed.

It’s not always obvious.
And it’s not always visible.

But it’s always there—shaping how you feel, think, and cope.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Mental Health Week (led by the Canadian Mental Health Association) is a reminder to slow down and actually notice what’s been happening beneath the surface.
