I am an honours graduate of the Georgian College Massage Therapy program in Barrie, Ontario and is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2009. I am trained to perform techniques such as Cupping, ART, fascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, deep tissue and Swedish massage. My goal is to help clients be creators in their own health

with a holistic approach and a trusting and open therapist-client relationship. With this view, personalized treatment goals, on-going assessments and personalized self-care for patient's to work on at home are essential to help each patient heal in their own way specific to their injury and/or condition. I have worked extensively in the hospital setting prior to my career as an RMT along with personal training. I specialize in sarcastic humor and honesty and often bring this to the treatment.

I was very lucky to receive a beautiful gift of self care from a friend 🖤
In a time where I need it the most. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Sarnia. The space was so serene and gorgeous and smelled divine! I had 60 min of what I can only describe as my dream treatment. Hair oils/scalp treatments/ massage/water therapy and massage. It was all followed by a blowout so I could leave feeling completely relaxed and together. Side note* not everyone has the skills to blowout my crazy hair but the pic confirms her skills:)
10/10 and will be booking again .headspa

Hey! It’s been awhile! For me it seems like a year but it’s only been 10 weeks since my surgery. I wanted to show my face and post a quick update as it has changed often over the past couple of months. I am on the upward trajectory of healing and getting some “normalcy” back movement wise. I will be having one more surgery in late spring that has a much less painful recovery than the last two. So I can finally plan an approximate return to work, Yay! I am planning on returning in some capacity by mid summer. For those of you waiting patiently and checking in, I appreciate every one of you. Can’t wait to be back at it, see you on the table soon-ish❤️

UPDATE:

After a long period of waiting and hoping, the time has come to take the next step in my healing. This Thursday, I will be having a second surgery to remove areas of breast skin and my ni***es that were unable to heal as we had hoped. We truly did everything possible to preserve them, but in the end, even after a double mastectomy, being cancer-free is what matters most in this deeply physical and emotional journey.

The day before surgery, I have my pathology appointment, where we will learn whether any further treatment is needed. Holding space for whatever comes next.

For those who have been following along, I share these updates not only for you, but also for myself — so one day I can look back, reflect, heal, and fully grieve the body and life I once knew, while gently welcoming the path forward and pay it forward so that someone else’s journey might be even a little less difficult.
Financially, it’s been almost 5 months and this go fund me is the only support. I am still talking to all the agencies that state I have been approved and have yet to see anything (even with involvement from our local MP). The positive I want to take from this is that I will be able to save someone else this stress in the future. Your support has literally been my saving grace and I’m grateful and humbled.

Thank you for walking this road with me, for your love, and for your unwavering❤️. https://gofund.me/ba9e52042

Subject: A Personal Health Update ❤️

Hi everyone,

I wanted to reach out with a heartfelt update, because many of you have been part of my world for years, and I’ve always believed in being transparent with the people who support my work.

As some of you know, I’m currently in the middle of battling invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer). My hope was to keep working right up until my first surgery, especially since being self-employed means there’s no safety net and I’m still waiting on responses from the government programs I’ve been applying to since my diagnosis in August. This part of the journey isn’t talked about much, but the truth is that stepping away from work comes with a heavy financial strain — and that’s been weighing on me.

To make things tougher, I’ve also been hit hard by the influenza that’s going around, and it has knocked me out for over a week. After a lot of thought (and a very stubborn internal argument), I’ve realized I need to listen to my body. I need to step back a little earlier than planned so I can recover properly and prepare for the first of several long surgeries. And spend time with my family ❤️

This wasn’t an easy decision. You all know how much I care about my work and the people I treat. But right now, taking care of myself — mentally, physically, and yes, even financially in the long run — means pressing pause so I can come back healthier and stronger.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your understanding, your patience, and the support so many of you show in quiet, meaningful ways. I’ll keep you updated on my recovery and let you know when I’m ready to return.

With love and gratitude,
Mandy Wilson
