Feeling extra grateful this evening! 💛

We had such an incredible turnout for Spectrum’s 5th Birthday BBQ. There was face painting, sunshine, lots of laughs and a bouncy castle of course!

More than anything, it was so special to see so many of our kids and families together. Watching connections happen outside of the clinic walls is always such a good reminder of what this community is all about.

We are so thankful for every family who has supported Spectrum over the last five years. Thank you for trusting us with your kiddos.

Five years of Spectrum and we are feeling very, very lucky. 💛

Our groups are designed for autistic and neurodivergent adolescents who are looking for opportunities to connect with others, build friendships, and spend time with peers in a supportive space.

But our social groups might look a little different than what you’re used to.

We aren’t teaching kids how to “look more social,” make eye contact, mask, or follow a set of neurotypical social rules. Instead, our groups are neurodiversity-affirming and focused on:

✨ building authentic connections
✨ understanding different communication styles
✨ self-advocacy and boundaries
✨ navigating friendships and social situations in ways that feel comfortable and genuine
✨ creating a space where participants can simply be themselves

Ultimately, our goal is to support adolescents in developing the skills and confidence to navigate relationships while staying true to who they are!

If you have an adolescent who might be interested, send us a message! We’re currently looking for a few more participants so we can get our next groups up and running. 💫

✨ WE’RE HIRING! ✨

This one is a little bittersweet. We’re so sad to be saying goodbye to our wonderful Gracen in her current role at Spectrum, but we’re also so excited for what’s ahead for her! And don’t worry, you’ll still see her familiar face around Spectrum helping out with some of our groups.

With that, we’re officially looking for a Full-Time receptionist to join our team!

We’re looking for someone who is organized, reliable, friendly, and a true self-starter…Someone who enjoys being around children and families, communicates well, can keep track of all the little details, and is excited to become an important part of our team.

This is a full-time position, and we’re hoping to find someone who is looking for a long-term home with Spectrum.

Our administrative team is often the first point of contact for our families, so finding someone who understands and connects with who we are is really important to us. We strongly encourage applicants to check out our website, learn a little about Spectrum, and familiarize themselves with our values and philosophies before applying.

Little Sprout Camp 🌱

Alyssa and Naomi spent the week exploring, creating, moving, getting messy, and building friendships!

Thank you to all of our families for sharing your little ones with us. We loved watching their confidence grow throughout the week. 💛
