If you tell yourself weighting and logging your food is too hard, then it will be

Weighing and tracking is much easier than guessing, restrictive meal plans or cutting out carbs, sugar and joy

Can it feel tedious sometimes? Sure. But you’ll learn how to use it because you’re super capable and smart. You just have to give yourself a chance to learn.

You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be consistent. So don’t stress too much about the numbers.

Plus with all the new features they have, it’s super simple.

So you can put the belief down that it’s too much work and realize that it’s more work to stay stuck in a body you hate.

If I had 100lbs to lose again I’d totally do a GLP-1

I remember the cravings and the food noise

The miserable hunger

And all of that effort to see the scale creep so painfully slowly

So I get it. It’s easy, and it feels like you have control back.

But the problem is, all of those things are waiting for you when you get off the meds. And if I took GLP-1s back then, I’d probably gain all the weight back too

I did restrictive diets that made my cravings and hunger unbearable, and it made it impossible to stay consistent.

That’s why most people go on these drugs. They’re fu**in sick of horrible diets.

But if you don’t lift weights and fuel your body while you’re on it, you’re losing muscle, increases your cortisol and slows your metabolism

So not only do the cravings come back after you get off the meds

But so does the weight gain - and then some because the muscle you lost makes it easier for you to gain weight.

So I don’t care if you’re on weight loss drugs - I get it.

I just want you to know it’s not a magic pill. And unless you’re preserving your muscle, fuelling yourself and repairing your relationship with food, this’ll just be another fad diet, sis.

What are you willing to let be imperfect so you can take care of yourself first?

Because you can’t “have it all” - it’s impossible. But that’s okay.

Sometimes it’s okay to let the laundry go unfolded so you can go to sleep earlier

Or let those emails go unread for a while so you can eat your lunch instead of starving all day

Or your kids can watch tv for a bit while you workout so you can feel strong and get your stress out

The thing that is stopping you from getting everything you want - to look and feel better - is this mindset that you have to “do it all” for everyone else before you get to have your needs met

Hello burnout & resentment!

You deserve support, you deserve to feel energetic and fit and sexy and confident.

Take it from someone who’s been there

The 12 week plans feel great because you “only” have to do the work for 12 weeks

But you end up doing 7 of them over a couple year span just to stay overweight and frustrated

And each one you do erodes your self trust and makes you hate yourself a little more

Waking up with energy, eating more than you ever have, and not stressing over food is one of the best feelings in the world

And I never though I’d get here - but I am

And it wasn’t because of a 12 week “lock in”

It was the slow and sustainable way.

So much of what we do is based on fear, rejection and feeling embarrassed or shameful.

And I haven’t done a lot of the things I want to do because I’m afraid, I don’t want to be embarrassed.

But I don’t really want to live an average life anymore. Even more than don’t wanna feel embarrassed.

And really, I can only feel embarrassed if I assess the situation as embarrassing.

I can only fail to the level of my own definition of failure.

So every day I am going to be practicing the art of embarrassment.

Putting myself on here every day in an unscripted way, doing things out of my comfort zone, and facing the reality of levelling up - it’s fu**ing hard and scary

The universe will also find creative ways to put me in situations that are embarrassing 😅

But it’s worth it.
