What is diet culture? Diet culture is a harmful set of beliefs that has become normalized in our culture. Have you ever congratulated someone on losing weight? Or decided to cut back on carbs because of the belief they’re “bad for you”? If so, you’ve been impacted by diet culture.
Diet culture is harmful and dangerous and plays a role in perpetuating eating disorders.
