At PPC we don’t believe being in crisis is a prerequisite to using our services. In fact, earlier intervention usually ensures a quicker solution. We do this by helping you to clarify the problem and we work with you to create solutions that work for you. Remember, early intervention can mean the difference between solving a problem and going through a long period of struggle with a difficult situ

As we say goodbye to summer and start easing into fall, our office will be closed Monday, September 7.

📚 Happy first day of school!

We totally get that this time of year can bring a whole mix of emotions. It’s a big transition, and for many of us, it can feel like the real start of the year.

Whether you’re a teacher, a student, or a caregiver, we can offer support in a variety of areas, including anxiety, stress, behavioural challenges, time management, and strategies for ADHD and learning difficulties.

We’ve really enjoyed having Lisa here with us this summer! 💚 She brings a curiosity and passion for psychology that is truly infectious. If you had a chance to work with her—or join her self-compassion group—you know exactly what we’re talking about!

We’re sad to see her go, but so excited to watch what comes next as she continues her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the U of S. We have a feeling this isn’t goodbye… just bye for now. 😉

We get it—life happens. Sometimes it just isn’t possible to give 24 hours’ notice when cancelling an appointment. We have compassion and grace for those situations (I mean, that’s what we do! ❤️).

That said, if an appointment is forgotten or accidentally mis-scheduled on your end, a late cancellation fee may apply. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and late cancellations make it difficult to offer that spot to someone else who may also be waiting for an appointment.

And, of course, our therapists deserve to be compensated for the time they’ve reserved for you, too.

Thanks for understanding and helping us make the most of everyone’s time! 💚

We now offer direct billing with Sun Life! 🎉

We know it can be frustrating to pay upfront for your appointments and then wait to be reimbursed by your insurance provider. We’re hoping to make things a little easier for our Sun Life policyholders by offering direct billing.

If you have questions or would like to get set up for direct billing, just reach out to our admin team! 💚
