I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my upcoming mat leave, so I wanted to share a quick update!
Yes — Essential Hideaway will remain open while I’m away. I’ve hired several talented Registered Massage Therapists who will continue providing the quality care you’ve come to expect. Each therapist brings their own unique style and approach, and I truly believe there’s someone here for everyone.
While I’ll be stepping away from treating clients, I’ll still be working behind the scenes managing the clinic, supporting our therapists, handling payroll, and helping ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. At the same time, I’ll be putting my trust in my incredible team to keep things running on the front end.
One of the things I’m most proud of is creating a business that can continue to thrive during this season of life. From the beginning, I built Essential Hideaway with the vision of being able to step away from physically treating clients one day while still generating an income to support my family. As I prepare to become a mom, I’m incredibly grateful that vision is becoming a reality.
Each therapist manages their own clients, and we’ve put systems in place to make booking and communication as seamless as possible.
Thank you for your continued support, trust, and encouragement as my family prepares to welcome our newest little addition. ❤️ The clinic is in great hands, and I look forward to reconnecting with everyone when I return—whenever that may be. At this point, I’m still giving myself the space to see what that transition back to work will look like long-term.
