I have a hard time with my birthday every year as it's the morning that she slipped into a coma of my 21st birthday...the hard part of the 9th is that's the day she passed..

I'm now 11 years older than she was when she passed. There's not a day that goes by over the last 31 years that I don't think of her. I know I get my sense of family, giving back to community and putting others first like her.

I only hope she's proud of the daughter that I am, of her grandchildren Meagan and Lindsay ...with her amazing great grandsons Declan & Elden. She would've approved of my second husband, Brett , for the way he takes care of us all.

Theres so many things I want to tell you mom, everyday.. but most of all.. I love you and miss you. 💕

For we wanted to share that we've finally done the front of the house with flowers after living here for 2.5 years. Thank you to my hubby for help fixing the wall, pulling weeds, tilling the dirt and helping me plant the allysum border.

"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.

"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."

"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.

"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.

"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.

"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."

And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right."
