Let's talk money. As a small business, we already know our products and price point arent for everyone. There aremore expensive, and less expensive- We strive for the value you receive from supporting us with your orders, far exceeds the cost you paid for them.

I have invested my own money, my mom has invested, i've received grants and discounts and support that help us financially, and still, i'm not currently paying myself anywhere near a living wage and that's hard.

Every Child Matters 🧡 We remember the children who never came home. We honour the survivors. We speak the truth.

I still remember hearing the news of the remains of 215 children from the BC Kamploops Indian Residential school. As a mother, it hit differently. It still does.

The mothers who were lied to, who had their children taken from their homes, many never to be seen again.

My heart hurts with & for them.

Today and everyday is a day to honour Indigenous peoples on this land and vow to do better through our words, actions and how we raise our children.

The first shirt I ever bought from Indigenous, mom owned Awasis Boutique was a simple white tee with 3 fists up in different skin tones that read "Raise Good Humans." It was a go-to over my naked tank. My second order was 3 Orange Shirts, one for me, my husband, and toddler. We're wearing those same shirts today (different toddler now) 🧡

Take time today to learn about Indigenous culture, history, lands, stars, businesses. Listeb, engahe, place an order.

Their stories matter and when we can come together to learn from one another, I believe there can be peace restored.

For us, my son inspired a promotion for moms with their eyes on nursing tanks, to donate a portion to an Indigenous organization, so of course we jumped in:
